Dear Guest,
below we have compiled further information about the region and our hotel:
With only six months the tourism season in Franconian Switzerland is relatively short, starting around Easter and ending in mid-October, when the trees have shed their leaves. Almost all touristic attractions like museums, castles, caves etc. are closed during the off-season, only some may be open on weekends or sundays.
In peak season, depending on the weather, especially the weekends are booked for short-stays, on weekdays it often may be more quiet.
Our establishment has about 80 beds in four adjacent buildings. 30 of them are in rooms with shower and WC, the other rooms have common bathrooms. The demand for rooms with common bathrooms is nevertheless very high for short-stays of one to three nights. Especially on weekends we have many additional day trippers and of course our pilgrims.
To strengthen our team we employ students from hotel schools in neighbouring countries who do an internship of two to four months. Some of them speak excellent German, some of them less. We ask for your understanding.
We look forward to your visit in our hotel. Please feel free to contact me in person for any wishes or suggestions.
We wish you a pleasant stay and hope you will kep us in good rememberance.
